It was divine intervention. Dr Filomar Tario, Senior Lecturer at the NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts) Dance Therapy Dept was seated at the same table with our CEO Michelle Lee at the Closing Ceremony Dinner for the 8th ASEAN ParaGames. Both led teams to perform at the ParaGames.

Michelle posed the question to Filomar: “As dancers, you usually dance to pre-programmed music. How would you like to dance and create your music at the same time?”. That piqued Filomar’s interest.

We joined hands and created a performance to inspire and push the boundaries of inclusity. The dance therapy students worked with seniors and people with special needs for the first time.
