We were making music at the eldercare home. Suddenly, a volunteer wheeled Mercy up to me, shouting excitedly. Watch the video to see Mercy making music – face beaming, head high, body swaying. Everyone was amazed and cheered, including the home’s Vice-President, a medical doctor.

After the session, I was stunned to find out that Mercy is blind. Slumped over her wheelchair, she was awakened by the music and energy. The volunteer told me: “I’ve been volunteering here for 17 years. I’ve never seen Mercy so active before!”.

We have awakened, engaged and included many seniors like Mercy across Asia.
